Zilia, a company in the segment of memories, data storage devices and connectivity solutions based on the Internet of Things technology, is pleased to announce the development and implementation in Brazil of a low-cost NB-IoT connectivity module aimed at IoT applications.
This module has reduced dimensions (23 x 28 mm), with great transmission performance and low power consumption, the module was created to offer a complete connectivity solution, and at the same time, maintain total pinning compatibility with other connectivity devices of the company’s product line that incorporate LoRa® and Sigfox technologies, completing the product line allowing great flexibility to customers to develop IoT applications for any market segment.
The NB-IoT module will be offered in two versions, one with integrated eSIM and one to be used with an eSIM or external SIM card. These models aim to reduce the development cost of the final product and speed up the development cycle with a highly integrated, ready-to-use solution for various applications.
To accelerate and facilitate this process even more, Evaluation Boards will be available, where access to the module’s I/O ports, serial connection, power supply, and antenna are integrated on a small board, without the need for any manipulation or soldering on the module.
Approved in exhaustive tests on the NB-IoT network available in Brazil and with the ANATEL certification process under way, the company has engineering samples that can be immediately made available for operational tests.
Thus, Zilia offers the market one of the best options in solutions for the development of the IoT ecosystem in the country, as well as providing resources for companies to expand their connectivity by optimizing projects and processes.
