The Internet of Things is a technology that aims to converge the communication of various devices to the IP cloud.
The technologies developed for this purpose aim to meet user needs over short and long distances.
Zilia has developed products to serve the LPWAN market, which includes a wide variety of devices that require long-distance communication with narrow bandwidth.
The first LPWAN module is based on Long-Range (LoRa®) technology, which is a wireless communication technology capable of transmitting and receiving point-to-point information over long distances with low energy consumption used in many Internet of Things (IoT) networks worldwide. The LoRa® technology allows a variety of IoT applications intended to address challenges such as: energy management, natural resource control, pollution control, infrastructure efficiency, disaster prevention, and much more. Operation is performed through AT commands sent on the serial port (9600 bps).

The EVB is an evaluation and development platform for Zilia’s LoRaWAN® module.
It is ready to be connected to a USB interface of any computer and, through terminal software, it is possible to send AT commands and receive responses from the module.
In addition, it is also possible to test the available GPIOs on the module, with two of them already implemented on the board (Button and LED) and the others accessible through specific connectors.
