
Women represent a workforce and a source of intellectual capital indispensable to any economy. They are present in the history of technology and in several other areas that contributed to the evolution of humanity and science.
According to IBGE gender statistics, women study more and are more present in the labor market and are getting more space in the socioeconomic reality in our country. According to the survey, the participation rate of women in the labor market increased by 2.9% in 8 years.
Zilia, encourage and defend the women in their journey to turn themselves into decision makers, models and agents of the future changes.
To celebrate the International Women’s Day, Zilia invited all the leaders to participate in an online conversation on March 7th. In this discussion, relevant points to female representativeness in the business universe were highlighted:
- Obstacles that prevent women from assuming a more relevant position in society and in organizations
- The imposter syndrome, characterized by people who are prone to self-sabotage
- Performance evaluation: understanding the parameter most applied by HR to manage people in a company, as well as the main biases that may arise and how to prevent this from happening
- What women can do for themselves to advance, and what are the movements that promote the growth of female leadership
- Essential skills to be developed by women in leadership positions.
The employees also participated in the campaign “20 tips to inspire women of Zilia”, sharing their testimonial in the survey “what would you tell other women to inspire them?”, promoting the thought about the importance of women in society.
Zilia, that encourages the gender equity and the female leadership, offered as well, in the locations of Atibaia and Manaus, a special gift on March 8th to remember that self-care is the most subtle and practical way to love themselves.
